Rocklite (HDU) Gallery

  • Exterior or Interior product
  • High Density Urethane is an expanded plastic with gas filled micro cells to make it lighter.
  • Great Exterior material (15 to 18 pound density recommended)
  • Used for Simulated Sandblasted Wood Signs; Pebble carved backgrounds V-Groove signs & more.
  • Can be metal faced, or painted with Pantone Automotive paints, or surfaced with our Acryseal plastic.
  • Can be faced with Hotseal surfacing which is a non-laminated surfacing process.
  • Thickness available: ½”; ¾”; 1”; 1-1/2” & 2”

 

ACRYLIC: also known as Plexiglass

  • Exterior or Interior product
  • Choose from over 1000 Pantone colors when surfaced with Acryseal.
  • Available in Non-glare or High-gloss finishes
  • Acrylic may also be surfaced with anodized metal or painted with automotive paints.
  • Thickness available: 1/16”; 1/8”; 3/16”; ¼”; ½”; ¾” 1” (anything over ½” starts getting very expensive)

 

ALUMINUM COMPOSITE:

  • Exterior or Interior product
  • Solid polyethylene core sandwiched between two layors of thin aluminum sheets.
  •  Also know as Alumacore, Signabond, Dibond, Reynobond, Alucobond, and Alpolic just to name a few.
  • Great for large surfaces that need strength like sign panels or large logos
  • Can be metal faced or painted with Pantone Automotive paints.
  • Thicknesses available: 3mm & 6mm (can be layered to get thicker as needeed)

 

EPVC (Expanded Poly Vinyl Chloride):

  • It is suggested as Interior in most cases but can be great for Exterior in some situations.
  • Same plastic as is used for pluming but with micro tiny gas filled cells to make it lighter.
  • It can be cut into letters & logo shapes.
  • Can be metal faced or painted with Pantone Automotive paints & may be surfaced with our Acryseal plastic.
  • Thickness available: ¼”; 3/8”; ½”; ¾”; 1”; 1-1/2” & 2”

 

GATORFOAM:

Styolite which is sandwiched between two layers of plastic impregnated paper

  • Interior only
  • Can be cut into letters & logo shapes.
  • Metal faced or painted with only water base paints & can be surfaced with our Acryseal plastic.
  • Thickness available: ¼”; ½”; ¾”; 1”; 1-1/2” & 2”

 

 STYROFOAM:

  • Interior only and can be cut into letters & logo shapes.
  • Can only be painted with water base paints.
  • Thickness available: 1” unless ordered special
  • We only use the Styolite brand as it is a more dense (non-bead type) Styrofoam

 

SOLID ALUMINUM:

  • Exterior or Interior product-Can be metal faced or painted with Pantone Automotive paints.
  • Thickness available: .040; 1/8”; 3/16”; ½”; ¾”; 1” (anything over ½” starts getting very expensive)
  • Please note: Aluminum Composite is less expensive than solid aluminum and in most cases, holds up just as well.
